Cookies
This site sets none. The app sets a few - one so you can stay signed in, and one per advisory banner you dismiss. That is the whole picture, and the difference between the two is the point of this page.

This website
No cookies. Nothing in local storage, nothing in session storage, no fingerprinting, no analytics - cookieless analytics included, because even a cookieless tracker is a script from someone else's server.
You will not see a cookie banner here. There is nothing to consent to, and a banner that asks permission for nothing is theatre.
This is enforced rather than asserted: the site's Content Security Policy permits no external origin at all, and a test in its own source fails the build if one is added. Fonts are served from this domain.
The app
The app is at a different address and does set cookies. It sets three kinds of thing, all strictly necessary or purely local:

"Strictly necessary" is a narrower claim than "no cookies at all", and it is the accurate one. A session cookie is still a cookie. The distinction is that it does only the job you asked for by signing in, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
None of them is an advertising cookie, and none is shared with an advertising network. There are no advertising networks involved anywhere in this product.
Reading somebody's Beacon
Reading a public Beacon does not require an account and is not counted. The page does load the owner's profile image from our sign-in provider's image host, which is a request to a third party - it carries no cookie of ours.
